Sustainability Hall map

A critic once wrote that the Congress Centrum Bremen and its postmodern architecture resembled a child’s wonderland with its many playful details.

The ÖVB-Arena – formerly the Stadthalle – is directly next door and its striking pillars are depicted in our logo.

Halls 2 and 3 are located in the basement of the Congress Centrum Bremen. The adjoining multi- storey car park and Halls 4 to 6 form a 250 metre-long wing along the north side of the Bürgerweide.

Many of the rooms are glazed on the Bürgerpark side ensuring that they are light-flooded. The multipurpose Hall 7 which was built in 2002 completed the venue. Our business lounge is located on the upper floor of this hall and can be booked in association with Hall 7. It is ideally suited for exclusive get-togethers as well as smaller meetings – the perfect location with event areas and conference capacity according to your exact requirements.

The M3B GmbH is aware of its joint responsibility in protecting the environment and climate. A contribution is, for example, the installation of solar power systems on the roofs of Halls 4 to 7. They produce 750,000 kilowatt hours of electricity each year which corresponds to about 25 per cent of the venue’s energy requirements. Green electricity is used for the remaining sum.

A combined heat and power plant also produces heat with reduced CO2 emissions.

From 2006 to 2016 energy consumption decreased from 4.4 million to 3.5 million kilowatt hours despite significantly more events being held here. In 2019 the last event halls were fitted with LED lamps which means all halls including the ÖVB Arena are now energy efficiently lit.
