  • „Listening, getting involved creatively, telling stories.“

Manou Gernat, project manager guest events, at M3B GmbH since 2001

What I am particularly good at …
Listening, getting involved creatively, telling stories.

Which event has made a lasting impression on you and why?
The 32nd Protestant Church Congress (Evangelischer Kirchentag) in Bremen. Five years of preparation, creative exchange, regular meetings, networking with various Bremen institutions and companies, strong involvement in every phase of the project. It was simply great!

If it were up to you, which event should definitely be organised by CONGRESS BREMEN and why?
The "World Congress on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Robotics" - because ever since I saw "I, Robot" at the cinema, I've been wanting to get to know one of these robotic personalities better 😉

What has been the most unusual requirement made by an event organiser so far?
Finding a red wine that doesn't stain the lips and tongue.

Who would you like to “coffeesise” with? (“kaffeesieren”, which can be translated as “coffeesise” is a typicial Bremen phrase for going out for coffee) ?
With the robot I will meet at the “World Congress on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Robotics”, by all means!

  • „I can approach people very well and quickly as well as flexibly adapt to new situations.”

Katja Herrmann, project member, at M3B GmbH since 2013

What I am particularly good at …
… approaching people very well and adapting to new situations very quickly and flexibly, that’s why I am an ideal "floater".

Which event has made a lasting impression on you and why?
My first big congress which was organised by the DSAG Deutsche SAP Anwendergruppe e. V. It was a big congress with an exhibition and an evening event where all available halls and rooms were used. The plenum in Hall 07 with almost 5,000 seats and the evening event in the interior of the ÖVB Arena were very impressive.

If it were up to you, which event should definitely be organised by CONGRESS BREMEN and why?
A congress with an accompanying exhibition on sustainability that addresses all areas of everyday life – for example, plant breeding that adapts to today's environmental conditions, renewable energies, sustainable fashion, recyclable furniture and healthy food.

  • „I think I always have a good connection to our customers and service providers.“

Markus Boldt, project manager guest events, at M3B GmbH since July 2009

What I am particularly good at …
Well, self-praise is a tricky thing. But I think I always have a good connection to our customers and service providers. I am very communicative and empathetic. I also enjoy making everything possible for our customers – true to the motto: For every solution there is a problem.

Which event has made a lasting impression on you and why?
The Equitana Open Air 2007 at the racecourse in Neuss. When you hear a snort from behind you, turn around and look a 1.90 m Shire Horse stallion (which is the largest horse breed in the world) straight in the eye – and on top of that get a smooch right away, that is something quite magical 😊

If it were up to you, which event should definitely be organised by CONGRESS BREMEN and why?
We have already organised it once and it has to come back to Bremen: Breakbulk, the leading trade fair for heavy-lift logistics. It simply has many interesting customers and a very professional organiser.

Who would you like to “coffeesise“ with? (“kaffeesieren”, which can be translated as “coffeesise” is a typicial Bremen phrase for going out for coffee) ?
I would have liked to meet Helmut Schmidt. And I would find Udo Lindenberg exciting – although it was only about ten years ago that I started liking his music. Shhh … 😊

  • „Keeping track, organising and thinking outside the box …“

Miriam Mücke, project manager sales CONGRESS BREMEN & guest events, at M3B GmbH since November 2008

What I am particularly good at …
… approaching people and talking to them, keeping track of things, organising and thinking outside the box …😊

If it were up to you, which event should definitely be organised by CONGRESS BREMEN and why?
I find the work of the Alfred Wegener Institute very interesting, especially the MOSAIC expedition fascinates me. The evaluation is currently ongoing. If there was a congress on this at CONGRESS BREMEN, that would be fantastic.

Who would you like to “coffeesise“ with? (“kaffeesieren”, which can be translated as “coffeesise” is a typicial Bremen phrase for going out for coffee) ?
There are a few: Meeting Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos could be quite exciting, for example. And I guess you can have a lot of fun with Barbara Schöneberger.

What can the CONGRESS BREMEN team do for you?
